These are generally held on the second Tuesday of the month at 9:15am in the school canteen. All parents are welcome to attend and put forward their views. Check the ISN-PTA Calendar for the date of the next meeting.

 

These are generally held on the same day as the PTA meeting at 9:00am in the canteen. They are informal social events where parents can get together.

 

The PTA organizes the Winter Fete in December and the Summer Fete in June for children and parents to have fun and to raise funds for the school. These and other events and initiatives throughout the year are run by our parent volunteers.

PTA volunteers support the following school events:

The ISN-PTA meets each month to plan and provide for all the “extras” that enhance the school. Every year, PTA funds pay for :

• Visiting authors programme
• Middle school discos
• Flowers for graduating seniors
• Class funds

In addition, annual PTA events (like the Winter and Summer Fetes) raise funds to pay for improvements to the school. In the past few years, PTA funds have paid for:

• State-of-the-art projector and screen for the theatre
• Computers for the library
• Theatre lighting system
• Microwaves and refrigerators for the canteen
• Canopy for the outdoor eating area
• Sports equipment
• Piano
