Academic Life At ISN NICE
The International School of Nice provides a comprehensive education from the early years through pre-university for ages 3 to 18 based on the IB International baccalaureate program.
The international education at ISN is accessible to new students from a variety of school systems and curricula. Our 50-strong team of teachers, many holding advanced degrees, brings a great deal of teaching experience gained from around the world in multicultural school environments.
The International Baccalaureate (IB) organisation was founded in 1968 in Geneva with the vision of creating a better world through international education. Recognised as an IB World School since 1990, ISN is authorised by the IB organisation to offer:
- The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)
- The Middle Years Programme (MYP)
- The IB Diploma Programme (IB DP)

A recognised international curricula for all ages
Our lower school provides for children ages three to 11 with Early Years and primary education and follows the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). The lower school is contained in its own wing, complete with classrooms, the lower school library, a language room, an art studio, an outdoor learning area and a playground.
Our international middle school provides for children ages 11 to 14 and follows our ISN Middle School Programme. It is an international curriculum created by our experienced teachers, drawing upon best practices from around the world. It prepares our students for IGCSE and the IB DP.
Our international high school provides for young people ages 14 to 19 and follows the IGCSE curriculum and the IB Diploma Programme (IB DP). IGCSEs are a set of high-profile qualifications with an excellent reputation that provides a broad curriculum suitable for international schools.
The Diploma Programme is known as a leading university preparatory curriculum, gaining recognition and respect from renowned institutions across the globe.
