At the International School of Nice on the azure coast, our friendly, accomplished faculty has an average of 15 years’ teaching experience.
Committed to nurturing each student within our international student body, inspiring everyone to reach their individual potential, our long-standing teachers have an average length of stay of a decade. Our 50-strong team of educators, many holding advanced degrees, brings a great deal of teaching experience gained from around the world in multicultural school environments.
Having worked across a broad range of curricula, our informed teachers can appreciate the rewards our students reap from the International Baccalaureate programmes and the IGCSE qualifications at ISN.
Our diverse and united school community
Originating from more than 30 countries, our staff members are reflective of the international community on the Côte d’Azur. Our teaching team is composed mainly of British, American and French teachers.

IB qualified through on-going training
Our teachers of the International Baccalaureate programmes are IB qualified, relevant to their areas of subject expertise, through IB training workshops within Europe.
As a mandate of the IB organisation, our teachers are called to complete continuing professional development on an on-going basis.
This supports them in implementing best practice teaching methods in all of our classrooms and outdoor learning areas.

Going beyond the purely academic
ISN teachers are attentive to inspiring students beyond the purely academic components of our curricula.
They understand that in uniting students around challenges on a local and global scale, students realise their abilities and develop passions, becoming well-rounded life-long learners.
Co-curricular and extracurricular activities provide a platform for students to experience life beyond the classroom.
Our teachers encourage students to develop interests through experiences that are meaningful to them that can enrich their lives and the lives of others.
Welcoming new families
Many of our teachers have been part of our school community for over a decade and have served in a multitude of roles, so they are well-versed in welcoming new families into our community from both France and overseas.
They can appreciate the potential challenges that families face when moving a child into an international school in a new city at a young age.
Our teachers can support new students in transitioning into our school while fostering an appreciation of the life and culture of France in which the child comes to call home.
