Annual Globeducate International Music Festival
Michelle Van Buuren
The Globeducate Music Festival 2023, hosted by Agora Lledó International School, took place on the 24th – 27th of January. 220 students and 30 teachers from schools all over the Globeducate network, including four students and a music teacher from ISN Nice, arrived in Spain for this annual event.
The students from ISN had been preparing with Mr Martin, our music teacher, for the festival. When they arrived, they participated in a general rehearsal in the symphonic hall and had smaller group rehearsals in the afternoon.
On Friday the 27th of January all the preparations cumulated in a concert of Symphonic Pop Rock. The full concert can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnDYVq6qrro
“It was uniquely special to see our students enter the concert hall and step onto the grand stage, perform to several hundred audience members, amongst fellow student musicians who they had only met two days before and had already made firm friends with," Mr Martin, Music Teacher.
“I was so excited to see the school,” Klara, student.
“It was very fun to go with a best friend. My favourite song was Dancing Queen,” Maria, student.
