ISN Nice Celebrates CIS Re-Accreditation

ISN Nice Celebrates CIS Re-Accreditation
Jennifer Wallace

The International School of Nice is proud to share the news of our re-accreditation with the Council of International Schools (CIS) - a leader in the field of school evaluation and accreditation worldwide.

The CIS provides a unique international accreditation with a focus on the development of students as global citizens. The quality and rigour of CIS International Accreditation is recognized by ministries, departments of education, and universities around the world as demonstration of a school’s commitment to high quality international education and as a mark of quality assurance.

We are delighted to share with you some key points from the feedback that showcase our commitment to our students education and wellbeing:

  • ISN is a small school and a welcoming community. This allows staff a clear understanding of the aptitudes, cultural context, well-being and prior attainment of each student

  • At ISN learning is engaging and designed to motivate learners

  • There is a clear and effective commitment to the development of student’s language talents and support of their language needs

  • All staff contribute to a safe and secure learning environment which all students are seen, listened to and nourished. The academic, physical, social and emotional progress of each individual learner is taken seriously and is a clear strength of ISN

  • ISN is a very positive working environment which prioritises all students and their learning

Our Directrice Mel Curtis shared the following statement:

"The report clearly shows why families choose ISN over other schools in the area

I am very proud that the CIS report highlighted the concerted effort to drive for continuous improvement and rigour whilst maintaining the ISN family feel.

They acknowledge the high degree of personalised learning, guidance and caring support in all sections of the school which is tailored and highly personalised in a distinctly nurturing environment."
