ISN Robotics Team Wins First Place at Globeducate France Challenge
Michelle Van Buuren
We are proud to announce that the ISN Robotics Team won first prize in the High School category of the third edition of the Globeducate France Robotics Challenge!
Four of our Grade 9 students, Hanrui, Jinhong, Rafael and Stefan took on the challenge of competing in this year's Robotics competition, against all the other Globeducate schools in France.
A huge congratulations to the team members for their hard work, dedication, and innovative thinking that led them to this incredible achievement. Your passion for robotics and teamwork has truly paid off, and we are so proud of your success!
We extend our thanks to Mr. Radford for guiding and inspiring the ISN Robotics Team along the way. His mentorship has been invaluable in helping our students reach this milestone.
Mr. Radford noted, "The tasks set were particularly challenging as the ISN students were amidst the youngest to create robots, which had to be coded entirely in Python; indeed they competed in the "Lycée" category. They EXCELLED and tackled each challenge thrown their way with good spirit, humour, gusto and efficiency. We are so proud of them and we look forward to seeing them again next year in what will become a global competition."
Students from EIB Paris schools, Hattemer Bilingue 8ème, ICS Paris, ISN Nice, and ICS Côte d'Azur took part in this competition. This exclusive event underscores the importance of programming and robotics in the academic development of our students.
Thank you to Collège EIB Monceau for hosting the event and congratulations to the other winning teams:
- Primary School: EIB Monceau Primary School
- Middle School: EIB Monceau Middle School
