ISN Students attend Lyon MUN
Michelle Van Buuren
Two ISN Grade 11 students, Olga and Baptiste, took the initiative to attend the Lyon Model United Nations (MUN) event, which took place from the 24 – 27 May.
Fuelled by their passion for global affairs and diplomatic discourse, they eagerly embraced the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and hone their skills in diplomacy.
"Participating in Lyon MUN was truly a remarkable experience for me. As someone who has always been drawn to the world of diplomacy and global affairs, it was my second MUN conference, following my initial participation in Globeducate MUN in Nice, which inspired me to take the initiative once again.
The engaging discussions, diplomatic negotiations, and the opportunity to represent a country's perspective opened my eyes to the power of dialogue and collaboration in shaping our world. The experience reaffirmed my passion for international relations and fueled my drive to actively contribute to global problem-solving.
Lyon MUN has truly been a transformative journey, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful platform." – Olga, student
The MUN event in Lyon not only provided these two ISN students with invaluable experiences and insights but also affirmed their commitment to contributing to a more interconnected and harmonious world.
We applaud and congratulate them for taking the initiative to attend.
