The families that make up the International School of Nice come from all over the world. We celebrate this great richness of different cultures and we are very proud that we are able to offer a friendly, stable and caring community for all our learners.
Our students, teachers and parents are what makes our school very special. Here at ISN we aim to work together to create a nurturing environment that enables our students to discover their potential and possibilities. We want them to become fulfilled and rounded adults who will make a positive contribution to the world in which they are growing up. We want our learners to be seen, valued, empowered and feel a sense of belonging and pride.
We put great emphasis on contextualising the curriculum to ensure students understand what they are learning and why. Allowing students ownership of their learning, where appropriate, is critical to their success:
- Whilst we place utmost importance on high academic standards it is equally important that our learners are able to communicate effectively in many different forms, collaborate with others, problem solve, take risks and accept challenges in their learning. To be resilient and understand that mistakes help them learn and grow as individuals.
- Our teachers are committed to the highest standards of education, and work with their peers in our school and across the global group to develop innovative new ways of achieving high quality results.
- Through our personalised approach to learning we are able to challenge our students to be ambitious and to exel in their studies in order to excel at top universities around the world.
