Fast Facts About ISN
ISN was established in 1977 and has over 40 years of experience with students and their families coming from all over the world.
AIS (American International School) was the previous name of ISN from 1977 to 1990.
ISN is managed by the Chamber of Commerce Nice Côte d’Azur since 1994. A School Board is also part of the governance structure of the school and formalizes the role of the parents and the teachers in the decision-making processes.
ISN has been accredited by the CIS (Council of International Schools) and MSA (Middle States Association) since 1990 and has been granted re-accredited in June 2000 and 2011.
ISN offers an international education, from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12, in a leading IB World School. ISN’s mission is to inspire, support, and nurture our multi-cultural students to be well-educated and empathetic global citizens.
ISN is an IB World School with full authorization for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).
ISN offers students the opportunity to work towards internationally recognized qualifications through the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).
ISN welcomes 42 different nationalities through the students’ body and 10 nationalities through its faculty. Classes’ size is maximum 22 students.
ISN is also a Certified Test Administration Site, and serves as a test center for the PSAT, SAT I & SAT Subject Tests, SSAT, Advanced Placement, Cambridge Admissions Assessments (PAT, HAT, BMAT, STEP, TSA, etc.) and ACT exams.
ISN students achieve a high rate of external examination success and integrate excellent Higher Education university programs around the world.
The ISN Parent Teacher Association (PTA) welcomes new students and their families every year and is very active in the ISN social life.
