The International School of Nice (ISN) was founded in 1977 and was taken over by the French Riviera Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCINCA) in 1994. ISN is an essential part of the educational infrastructure on the Cote d'Azur and provides an anglophone programme for students aged 4 to 18 years, culminating in the International Baccalaureate (IB) of Geneva. As an important part of CCI operations in the field of education in France (which includes higher education and professional training provided by the Skema Business School, the IFE which provides corporate training, and the IFA, the professional automotive training centre), ISN has grown and developed to be a leading International School in the region with excellent exam results and university placement record. Our school is fully accredited by two international agencies - the European Council for International Schools and the Middle States Association of the United States.
The statute of April 9th 1898 entrusted France’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the task of representing the general interests of commerce and industry and a mission to create and manage services that would help business development. The French Riviera Chamber of Commerce is responsible for fullfilling 6 principle missions
- Representing local businesses
- Observing the local economy and providing information and statistics to interested organizations
- Stimulating the economy of the Côte d'Azur
- Providing assistance and advice to business and institutions
- Providing training and education
- Managing and developing facilities (ports, airports…)

President of the Chamber of Commerce Nice Cote d'Azur
The School Board is part of the governance structure of the school and is significant because it formalises the role of the parents and the teachers in the decision making processes.
The School Board has strategic responsibility and an overview of the budget which will give the necessary direction to the Director for the development of the school.
The board is comprised of two members from the CCI (Chamber of Commerce and Industry who are responsible for the management of the school), two parent representatives, two teacher representatives, the school director and his/her supervisor at the CCI. The School Board meets at least 6 times per year and more often as deemed necessary.
