At ISN, our House system is the heart of our school spirit, uniting students and staff across our Primary, Middle and High School sections. It’s more than just competition; it celebrates every student’s unique talents, passions, and contributions. Whether you’re an athlete, an artist, a scholar or someone eager to try something new, our House system has something for everyone.

A System Built for All
Our House system is designed to ensure that every student and staff member can shine. Each House is led by two dedicated staff members as Heads of House, alongside two student captains from each section (Primary, Middle and High School), who inspire and rally their peers. Students and staff remain in the same House throughout their time at ISN, fostering a deep sense of belonging, building lasting friendships across grade levels, and strengthening their connection to our school community. Students earn House points through academic achievements, positive behavior, and participation in a wide variety of activities tailored to diverse interests.
Unlike traditional House systems that focus heavily on sports, our program celebrates all talents. From creative contests and academic challenges to sports tournaments and seasonal celebrations, there’s a place for everyone to showcase their skills or try something new. Love to bake? Want to design? Ready to lead eco-friendly initiatives? Our House system lets you explore what you enjoy and discover new passions.
How It Works
House points are earned through individual and team efforts, with progress displayed live on our reception area’s House points TV! Every two months (e.g., September/October, January/February, March/April), the House with the most points for that period enjoys a special lunch event, celebrating their recent collective efforts. At the end of the academic year, the top-scoring House is crowned House Champion and enjoys an exclusive activity, a reward for their year-long dedication.

Our House system is about more than just points; it’s about belonging, growth, and celebrating every student’s journey. Whether competing, creating, or cheering on your House, you’re part of a community that values your unique contributions. Every Friday, students can leave their uniforms at home to show their House pride by wearing their colors on Spirit Day, uniting with their fellow Lions, Pegasi, Sharks, or Owls.
