Sports and Physical Education

Students at the International School of Nice have a real opportunity to excel in sports and physical education.

With the help of qualified and passionate teachers, they are encouraged to develop strong team player qualities while playing an assortment of games. Students enjoy a range of specialist-led sports and physical education classes from Kindergarten through Grade 10.

We are privileged to have plentiful outdoor space within our campus, boasting a state-of-the-art synthetic football pitch and volleyball court.

Our multi-purpose courts, for ball sports, include a full-size basketball court, a tennis court and a handball court. Indoor sports facilities at ISN include a gymnasium and a weights room for senior students.

Lower School

Preschool and primary school children have fun with their peers during game-related practices, trying out various types of movement while learning about the effects of exercise on the body.

Our children gain essential skills by doing fitness exercises and playing sports throughout the year, such as football, basketball, handball, netball, hockey, tag rugby and swimming.

This significant event is the biggest youth tournament held in Europe, open to teams of boys and girls from around the world who compete in football, basketball and volleyball.

Our students also play in friendly, inter-school tournaments against teams at schools in Europe and locally at football matches open to all schools on the Côte d’Azur.

Globeducate Events

The Globeducate Olympic Games, an annual sports event hosted by a school within our international network, offers our students Olympics-themed competitions where they can enjoy collaborating with multicultural peers and forming new friendships.
