Preschool through Grade 12 engage in elements of theatre in our extensive and fully-equipped 300-seat theatre, encompassing drama, performing arts and theatre production.

In middle school, students acquire, develop and apply skills in the process of making and presenting theatre while exploring the wider role of theatre in context. Drama productions provide our students with chances to enjoy exciting production crew roles and act on stage at our on-campus theatre.

The ISN musical show

For middle school and high school students, ISN has a musical show every year, a performing arts event we are renowned for locally.

Students audition in September, with show rehearsals taking place after-school on Mondays, Thursdays (and some Saturdays).

Following months of preparation, students' performance in the musical show is one of the highlights of the school year. Our talented young cast and crew enjoy all facets of creating and performing well-known stage shows, complete with iconic songs and dance routines.

In recent years, the musical shows we have presented at our 300-seat ISN theatre have proven to be unforgettable musical theatre experiences for all the community.

Theatre extracurricular activities

Events throughout the year, such as our summer fête and winter fête, provide yet more chances for students to practice and share speaking, acting and singing talents and abilities.
